| Welcome
to the Warren Dene Hotel, a friendly family run hotel offering
well equipped comfortable guest rooms at very competitive
rates.
Built in 1908 by local dignitary, Sir
Arthur Newbury, Warren Dene retains most of its Victorian
charm and character. Formerly a private residence, complete
with gas lighting, servants quarters and an apple orchard,
its present owners have sympathetically restored Warren Dene’s
original elegance, unique to that era.
The name, Warren Dene,
is derived from the particularly beautiful stretch of the
River Thames called the Warren, which flows close to the
Hotel, and from Dene of woodland in the same valley.
First
opened as a small family run Hotel in 1987, the personal
service and genuine hospitality offered by the proprietors
has ensured its popularity by visitors, tourists and the
business sector alike.
Excellent service, we
believe in the highest standards of hospitality and customer
care, ensuring that all our guests needs are met and they
are treated like individuals.
